Introducton

We collaborated with WRKPLC on multiple projects over the past few years, creating diverse range photographic content for use across WRKPLCs media platforms including their website, editorial features and social channels.

These projects included profile and portrait photography shot within the urban environment designed to reflect both brand personality and culture through to architectural and interior imagery that captures WRKPLC’s area of focus and visual identity.

The result is a consistent body of on brand photography that reinforces their themes of workplace culture, architecture and office interior environments.

Below is an overview and an insight into some of the projects we’ve worked on.

Brand identity and cultural portraits

For our first project we photographed the WRKPLC team in the urban surroundings of the Barbican, a few minutes walk away from their office. The aim was to get a range of authentic imagery that captures individual personality and team member dynamics whilst using the surrounding architectural environment as a means to integrate brand identity and culture. Despite the rainy weather, the conditions added a gritty, atmospheric quality to the images which enhanced both the character and mood to the shots. The photographs were used by WRKPLC across their website as well as wider digital platforms, including articles and blogs from Third Party businesses.

Office interior photography

We captured a series of interior shots within a collaborative workspace in Elephant & Castle, working closely alongside their in house graphic designer to ensure the imagery aligned with their visual direction. The brief focused on a mix of wide-angle spatial views, close-up details, textures and abstract geometric compositions.

These images were created specifically to serve as versatile visual assets, designed to sit behind graphic overlays and support a range of branded content across WRKPLC’s media outlets.

UK major cities landmark photography

The landmark photography was put together for a WRKPLC case study, exploring some of the most exciting and inspiring office spaces to work in across the UK. This involved capturing exterior architectural shots of key office buildings throughout London, Manchester and Birmingham. The aim of the project was to photograph the buildings in their entirety and to represent their iconography as architectural landmarks of each city. The resulting imagery highlights the scale, character and architectural identity of buildings.

"Alex always delivers more than expected. We needed some somebody take our photography briefs and bring them to life, and that’s exactly what Spacial Artworks did.
